Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is a healthcare provider course that equips individuals with the necessary skills to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. BLS teaches participants to recognize life-threatening emergency situations and how to provide high quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for adults, children, and infants. Participants will also learn how to use a bag-mask device to rescue breathe for adults, children, and infants.

The American Heart Association's HeartSaver CPR training offers a comprehensive program for single rescuer resuscitation for non healthcare workers. This course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to a variety of emergencies, and how to provide CPR and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an AHA HeartSaver course completion card.

Our American Heart Association accredited CPR training also includes a Bloodborne Pathogens course to meet OSHA requirements for those at risk of blood exposure. During the course, students learn how to safely handle blood and blood-containing materials, as well as how to protect themselves and others from infection. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion certificate to show their employer that they are trained in Bloodborne Pathogens safety.
